Bruno Santini, an outstanding investigator of miracles and supernatural events, is recruited by Velázquez, an enigmatic man who represents a mysterious client. Velázquez offers Bruno to continue financing his research institute, the CICA, on the condition that he solve a series of inexplicable cases in conjunction with Dr. Alicia Cervantes, a renowned theologian and researcher specializing in religious cults, with whom he does not seem to get along and barely match. Both must put aside their differences, to plunge into dangerous events that will lead them to question their own beliefs.
