Alejandro Fernández (Jaime Camil) is a talented mariachi, and a single father. Not feeling fit as a parent, he intends to send his daughter to her grandparents in Arizona, but to do so he needs to obtain a Visa. Rachel Simons (Laura Ramsey), consul at the US Embassy in Mexico, is about to move to London, where she has been promoted. When Alejandro meets Rachel, he sees in her the opportunity to achieve his plan, but things will get complicated in a fun adventure where these characters will learn to rebuild themselves in the middle of beautiful Mexico City.
